| A. Diving Communicator |
The DI01-2 Diving Communicator Box is designed and manufactured by Link Instruments Ltd. The unit is robustly made in a water proof Peli Case with push button controls which are easily operated even when wearing gloves. The unit uses 2 wires to connect to each diver and has all the features required when controlling one or more commercial divers.
Features:
• Internal (chargeable) or External 12Vdc battery.
• Dual Volume Control for divers and operator.
• 5W output power, on 8Ω, Frequency response 40-20,000 Hz maximum.
• Communication: Operator can communicate with one or both divers at all times. Operator directs communication between Diver 1 and Diver 2 and vice versa.
• Remote operation via headset boom mic and talk switch.
• Remote Speaker/Microphone connections.
• Built-in Speaker/Microphone.
• Easy connection to divers communication cord and other ancillaries via 4mm banana socket.
• Low battery warning LED, Green = Ok, Orange = Low Power,
Red = Needs re-charging
• Estimated 60 hours listening, 9 hours talk operation from a 2.0Ah battery. Normal use, 30 hours.
• 2 wire diver connection.
